Nantucket Island

World tourism will discuss on Nantucket Island. Nantucket Island is an island located 30 miles or 48 miles south of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in the United States. Nantucket is a tourist destination and summer colony. Population on the island will be increased from 10,000 to 50,000 people during the summer progresses, as many tourists and summer residents residing on the island.

Coatue
Coatue is a long barrier beach that is located in Nantucket Island, Coatue is split between the sound of Nantucket Harbor Nantucket. He had six points. The gap between Coatue and Pocomo called Wauwinet Straits.

Pond mound
Pond mound is a large pond in the southern coast of the island of Nantucket. Created at the Pond mound last ice age by melting ice and used to be much larger.

Miacomet Pond
Miacomet Pond is a pond, slim narrow in the south coast of the island of Nantucket. These ponds have rivers, but the sea rose to make Nantucket an island in the last ice age.

Hills Popsquatchet
The Hills Popsquatchet are many peaks that are in Nantucket Island. Rarely reach 100 feet or about 30 m, they can be gaps of Nantucket. Chicken Hill is a hill located in the northeast. On the east side of Chicken Hill, there is a very deep valley known as the Valley of the Dead Horse. On the north side of the hill, is Colt Valley.

In the winter time, the Valley of the Dead Horse is the best sledding area on the island. Chicken Hill's name to an old chicken farm run by William G. Egan.

Squam Swamp
Squam Swamp, a large swamp on the east side of Nantucket Island, located between Wauwinet Road, Squam Road, and Quidnet Road, just located in the northwest and northeast of Quidnet Polpis Harbor.
